Why Are Experiential Events Rocking the Marketing World?

The traditional tradeshow format is changing and new experiential events are emerging. Experiential Events are events that have a positive impact on your customers so that they take home great memories and your marketing team takes home valuable lead generation data. The trend towards experiential campaigns shows no indication of slowing. Furthermore, experiential events are the perfect opportunity to engage your customer and keep them coming back.

Experiential Events can include use of Video Projection Mapping, AV production, mobile phones, audience participation feedback keypads and other devices and effects that deliver an experiential experience to your guests and in turn provoke an emotional response or reaction.

Experiential Events

As traditional forms of advertising decline, companies are continually looking for new ways to connect with consumers. Many are turning to live events, known also as experiential marketing, as a way to bring their brands to life. Today’s experiential events have evolved from the days of flashy PR stunts to become designed emotive experiences intended to create a lasting emotional connection between a brand and its target market.

Experiential marketing is a relatively young marketing discipline, but is growing rapidly because it ticks a lot of the right boxes. Analysts are confident that we will see more innovative and interesting event ideas, as well as a focus on interactivity. Experiential marketing is a cross-media promotional activity which encourages two way interaction and direct physical immersion into a brand. Compared to mass media campaigns, experiential events tend to communicate on a much more personal level, generate a deeper level of emotional engagement, and result in better conversion rates and all at relatively low cost. Experiential marketing activities can range from high profile invite only events to tasters at a local farmer’s market.

The figures show just how greater impact experiential events can have on a company's marketing campaign. All the research suggests these designed experiences are working. Research has confirmed that people who have been engaged by an immersive experience take action, talk to others, and generate positive word-of-mouth, indicating that experiential events can offer distinct advantages over traditional marketing tactics.

Vote Corporate Events with New Audience Feedback Keypads

Corporate Events have added over 200 credit card sized audience response keypads to their already comprehensive conference and events support proposition.

Getting real time feedback from an audience will provide invaluable insight to event organisers.

The response to questions posed from the presenters to the audience can be collated and used in real analytical breakdowns that will help inform discussions and debate while offering the audience real immersive participation and engagement with the event.

Corporate Evenvts Audience Feedback Keypads

Account Director for Corporate Events, Michelle Kennedy, says “By introducing audience response tools to an event, we have seen that audience engagement with the host is increased exponentially, and that valuable data can be gathered from the audience that helps inform key decisions that a business needs to make in real time.”

Corporate Events are working with a number of clients who use their solution to add value to conferences, product launches and interactive learning sessions.

Michelle adds “Traditional conference style has been to put an audience in a darkened room and talk to them. That’s not the Corporate Events way – we actively challenge our clients to make sure we get best value from both the technology and the people in an event space, and ensuring we capture pertinent business feedback during an event can make huge difference to a clients return on event investment.”

Corporate Events will be happy to bring the system to your office and provide you with a real time demonstration as to how effective a tool it can be and how easy it is for the audience to engage with the system.

Michelle concludes “Once clients see how very easy the system is to use and how the data can be collected and used, the potential benefits are clear to understand. I would recommend a demonstration to anyone.”

Video Projection Mapping Comes to Corporate Events

Once again, Corporate Events is at the forefront of exciting and innovative client solutions with the advent of their projection mapping demonstration suite opening on 17th May.

Video Projection Mapping is an exciting and dynamic new projection technique that can turn almost any surface into a video display. Specialized software is used to warp and mask the projected image to make it fit perfectly on irregularly shaped screens.

Corporate Events Provides Video Projection Mapping

When done right, the end result is a dynamic projection installation that transcends ordinary video projection.

Creative Director Tim Christian states “While Projection Mapping has been used in the outside events space for a while now, Corporate Events are committed to providing this experience within the conference, awards and product launch space indoors.”

As a natural extension of their highly successful creative studio facility, projection mapping is another service that Corporate Events will be able to provide as an end to end turn key solution.

Tim adds “We have shown a number of our existing accounts some of our work and there is a real sense of excitement within our existing client base and forward into our new prospects around the potential that projection mapping would bring to their events.”

Account Director Michelle Kennedy concludes “Harnessing the ability to alter peoples perceptions of size, shape, scale and perspective changes the dynamic in an event space. It makes the whole stage real estate much more of the presentation, adding to the message delivery, retention and call to action drivers.”

But the last word stays with Tim Christian – “While the technology is great, it’s worth nothing without great creativity and that’s where Corporate Events score time after time – matching creativity with technology to deliver outstanding experiences.”

It will be a fantastic evening of music and dancing laughter and perhaps some tears, a very exciting auction, celebrity guests and oh... fundraising!

Corporate Events Support Events For Namuwongo

Event industry leaders got together at the Global Event Summit in London, in September, and decided to work together to create an industry cause.

Events for Namuwongo has adopted Namuwongo, a slum community of approximately 20,000 people on the edge of Kampala in Uganda. The community suffers from poverty, polluted water, lack of sanitation and education, and has been ravaged by AIDs and neighboring wars.

It is also a community of hard working, energetic people, striving to solve their own problems and improve their own lives.

Events for Namuwongo subscribes to a view that you can’t help everybody; therefore, you should help somebody properly, and we’ve decided to help Namuwongo until the people of the community can fully participate within Kampala’s economy.

Corporate Events MD, Andy Ashley said “It’s great to be involved with such a great charity and we are pleased to support such a worth cause.”

Tickets are selling fast, so for more information about this important event have a look at www.eventsfornamuwongo.com

Corporate Events Welcomes a New Accounts Event Manager to the Team

Corporate Events New Accounts Event ManagerCorporate Events are very pleased to welcome back Katie Lewis to the team as a key Accounts Event Manager. The role is something Katie was keen to develop and merge into after being an Account Manager since 2003 within the events industry.

Katie started off her working life in publishing for Future Publishing in Bath, where she worked across the large portfolio of magazines on full page advertising sales.

Fast forward to 2003 and the bright lights of events called to Katie, who started her career in the events industry as an Account Manager for an Event Management and Production house based in Bristol. Responsible for bringing in new business and account managing existing business, Katie also very much enjoyed the delivery and on site side of the events, developing and learning over 8 years working across a mixed portfolio of UK and global events.

Katie then started working for Corporate Events as an Account Manager back in 2011, initially with a sales role that developed more into the event management, production and delivery function with a number of clients towards the end of 2011.

With Katie’s’ passion for delivering outstanding client event experiences rather than business development, Corporate Events presented her with a fantastic new opportunity within an Event Manager capacity!

Katie is now responsible for managing and delivering all the events for three of Corporate Events’ key clients. Although a new role for Katie, she has had many years of experience within the events industry and brings both her experience and enthusiasm to the role.

Katie says “I am looking forward to the challenge and delivering my first world class, web streamed event in a few days time!”

How to Create a Successful Product Launch Event

Product launches are simply events where a corporation is releasing a product and they have an event that is open to people outside of the corporation, such as industry press, distribution partners, or current key customers. The purpose of the product launch event is to create visibility for the new product being launched and to initiate a buzz. Buzz marketing is about getting your product noticed by creating an event or experience that will get people talking.

Successful Product Launch Event

When launching a new product, first impressions are lasting impressions. By engaging key influencers, a well-executed product launch event can build company reputation and enhance consumer understanding. Product launches play a very important role in letting the customers know what new products a company is offering.

Event marketing is a concept that has been employed to ensure that a promotional event achieves the maximum response from the audience. Many product launch events are held in hotels and conference centres as part of major conventions, congresses, tradeshows and roadshows.

Marketing a new product is never an easy task and product launch events are carefully planned marketing tools, designed ultimately to increase revenue in business. An organized product launch event boosts the image of a product, service or establishment. Launches provide a stimulus that encourages the public to action.

Sure, there are a few things to consider when looking at a promoting and launching any major product, but you’ll notice that there are definitely not any “perfect” templates to follow. Sure, you can emulate a variety of different options, but you’ll miss out on the greater good if you don’t take your time to careful dissect the options you see. In order to help others create a longer lasting option,

When deciding how to handle your launch management, you may want to consider employing a product launch team if you want to go big! Corporate events management companies have the experience and expertise to manage every aspect of a products launch, and with previous experience they know the finer details that are often overlooked by companies that try to organise their own product launch event.

Audio Visual Production the Perfect Multimedia Experience

Audio Visual Production is a multimedia visual presentation that can be used as a presentation at a corporate event; awards show production, gala dinner production and other corporate productions. The purpose of an audio visual production is to convey a message to the assembled audience with images, video, and audio. Audio visual productions have not only become popular at corporate events, they have become ‘must haves’.

Audio Visual Production the Perfect Multimedia Experience

A company event such as a product launch, AGM, seminar or networking session can stand or fall on the audio visual support you have in place. The effect quality audio visual production can have on how your company or organisation is perceived by potential customers is more than substantial and should be something any aspiring company should always take seriously.

Audio Visual Production allows companies to put on a mind-blowing display using the latest technology. They say that a picture can speak a thousand words, and a well put together audio visual productions can speak volumes about your company, product launch or awards ceremony.

Audio visual productions are not adverts that are shown on a large scale screen, a audio visual production can create an exciting back drop on a stage or can enhance a presentation.

Audio Visual Productions require high tech equipment to deliver the best possible audio visual productions for clients and projects. Audio visual technology is updated and developed; companies that create audio visual productions need to keep ahead of the game with the new technology available. Audio visual technology is changing rapidly and audio visual productions created and delivered with older technology will quickly look outdated.

Audio Visual Production provides the perfect platform to address your event guests and impress them with a brilliantly made visual production.
