Events AV production good news story! Wiltshire based Corporate Events outgrow head office and are on the move!

Corporate Events NewsWiltshire based Corporate Events are bucking the downturn in spectacular fashion with a series of bold investments and innovations in 2012, after a record trading year in 2011 which saw double digit growth figures.

In February, Corporate Events will move from multiple office and warehouse units totalling around 8,000 sq ft in Wootton Bassett to a huge 24,500 sq ft building in Swindon.

“It’s been part of our expansion plan for some 24 months now” says Managing Director Andy Ashley. “We’ve grown steadily and organically over the last 15 years to where we are today, which is an amazing achievement given the volatile state of our market”

The move will allow Corporate Events to properly integrate their AV production warehouse function with their pre production creative studio and management team for the first time since the business formed in 1996.

“As a business, we have grown steadily to the stage where we are bursting at the seams in Wootton Bassett, and I felt it was important for the business as a whole to come together under one roof” continues Andy.

“Over the last few years we have increased our pre production creative studio three fold, invested in a presentation preview room and all of the talented staff that go with that, along side our continual re-investment in the latest projection, lighting and audio equipment, to say nothing of the set and staging we hold.

“We have taken additional space on the business park we are on, but it’s now gotten to the stage where I think we need to pull it all under one roof. This will give us tremendous operational efficiencies as well as allow us further grow the creative and operations side of our portfolio.”

Tim Christian, Commercial Director for Corporate Events adds “we have been running since 1996 and one of the keys to our continued success has been to change and adapt to the ever changing commercial landscape and provide proactive solutions for our clients.

“In 2012, we have further expansion plans that will include adding to our 30+ full time headcount as well as introducing innovative technical and creative delegate experiences to our clients.

“The year has started as 2011 left off – we are flat out busy and we are confident in forecasting another fantastic year. We have some huge projects to deliver – both in the UK and in Europe, and that’s before we factor in the Olympics effect. I’m confident that 2012 will be another double digit growth year for us.”

With a client base that includes has a diverse mix of high street names including Nationwide and Heineken through to publishing houses and event management agencies, the continued success and growth of Corporate Events is a good indicator that – for the right businesses – 2012 will prove to be a great year for the Events industry.
